Dr. Kellen Riccobono is a fellowship-trained therapeutic optometrist and a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry. She completed her undergraduate degree in Biology at the University of Texas at Austin followed by her Doctor of Optometry degree at The University of Houston College of Optometry. She then completed a fellowship in specialty contact lenses at the University of Houston. Though she specializes in specialty contact lenses, she enjoys providing comprehensive eye care, including routine eye exams as well as the diagnosis and management of ocular diseases.
Dr. Riccobono has been lucky enough to live in many different places, including Louisiana, California, Scotland, and Norway, but she spent most of her life in Texas. After finishing her schooling, she lived in Boston for three years where she worked as a clinician at the BostonSight PROSE Clinic designing and fitting custom scleral lenses in patients with advanced corneal disease. While in Boston, she also worked as a Clinical Professor at the New England College of Optometry. Most recently, she had been working at an ophthalmology practice in San Marcos, TX where she enjoyed providing both routine and medical eye care to patients in the surrounding Texas Hill Country community.
Dr. Riccobono is excited to now live in the beautiful state of Colorado. During her free time, she enjoys hiking with her dog, Nova, and cuddling with her cat, Mila. She also enjoys birdwatching and exploring new trails and parks.
